The number of drones in the sky is growing, so perhaps it's no surprise that the number of incidents between drones and planes is growing as well.
Statistics from Transport Canada show there were 33 of them over Ontario in the first six months of the year.
That's up from 24 during the same period last year.
Transport Canada defines an incident as one that poses a risk to aviation safety.
The agency tells CBC News that use of drones has increased by the thousands.
There has only ever been one case in Canada of a drone actually hitting a plane.
It happened in late 2017 over Quebec. The plane did manage to land safely.
