There's good news and bad news when it comes to the possibility of a repeat of last year's devastating floods on Toronto's islands.
Currently, Lake Ontario is 30cms above it's average level, and that puts it only 3cms lower than it was at this time last year.
And we know how that played out.
That's the bad news.
The good news, those who monitor the lake levels, don't think there's much chance of seeing a repeat of last year.
"We may have turned a corner, because in the past two weeks the water level in Lake Ontario hasn't changed." says Rob Caldwell, from the International Lake Ontario - St Lawrence River Board.
That's a good thing, because normally at this time of year, levels are on the rise.
But he says the prediction is never 100% because you can never know how much rain will fall this spring.
That's what led to the problems last year.
"Rain, rain and more rain." says Caldwell.
