A deadly collision closed the northbound lanes of Highway 404 from Elgin Mills to Stouffville Road for several hours overnight.
One man is dead, another seriously injured in the crash.
OPP say a 64-year-old man from Toronto was driving the wrong-way on the northbound lanes of Hwy. 404 when he hit a vehicle head-on.
The 64-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The 22-year-old male driver of the other vehicle was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The highway was closed for several hours, but all lanes reopened around 6:30 a.m.
