What should have been a fun day on the water has turned tragic.
One man is dead, another in hospital with serious injuries following a collision between two watercraft in the Toronto Harbour.
The marine unit was called for a rescue just before 10:15 this morning, to south Etobicoke in Humber Bay near Marine Parade Drive.
"Each sea-doo reportedly had one occupant and at one point neither of them could be seen from the witnesses who were at the shoreline," Constable Allyson Douglas-Cook tells Newstalk1010.
Officers with the marine unit managed to pull the men to shore.

"Very early on, it was determined that the condition of both men were quite serious. One of the men has been taken to hospital in serious condition," says Cst. Douglas-Cook.
"The second man unfortunately succumbed to the injuries he sustained from this collision and he's since been pronounced deceased at the scene."
It's unclear if the men were wearing life vests.
Traffic services and police are still investigating what led to the fatal crash.
