Toronto Police aren't sharing much information, only to say the homicide division has been notified, surrounding a robbery near Islington and Steeles.
It happened at a commerical plaza at the corner of Millwick and Milvan. Photos from the scene show a shattered glass entry door.
Toronto Paramedics say one man suffered life threatening injuries, but was not taken from the scene in an ambulance. He was later confirmed dead at the scene.
A second person suffered only minor injuries, and is recovering in hospital.
Nothing on what sort of weapon may have been used, and poliec will only say this was originally reported to them as a robbery, they can't confirm a robbery actually took place.
There’s a plastic container discarded on the sidewalk, it’s lid lying in the street. The bin is wrapped in a garbage bag & smells like marijuana. We don’t know if it’s connected to this case or not but note how much trouble cops went to seal off access to it. pic.twitter.com/ESsG93E4jn
