A crash on Highway 427 has claimed the life of one person.
The collision occurred on the sotuhbound lanes of the highway, just south of Derry Road at around 8 p.m.
Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Kerry Schmidt confirmed via twitter that two vehicles were involved in the collision.
A male driver of one of the vehicles involved was ejected from his car and pronounced dead at the scene.
Road closures were implemented in the area to accommodate a police investigation.
