Police have a large area cordonned off on Jane street, around two vehicles involved in a collision on Jane near Highway 400.
The call came in to Toronto Police at around 11:15 on Tuesday morning, for reports of a shooting and a collision.
It appears, two vehicles collided head-on, and someone got out of one of the vehicles, and started shooting.
A gun was recovered from the scene, along with spent bullet shells.
Police say it appears one person has suffered injuries that appear to be caused more by the crash, than the shooting. Their injuries are considered non-life threatening.
Currently, they are seaching the area for possible suspects, but they don't have a description to release.
