Police in southern Ontario say they've arrested a 30-year-old man who was wanted in connection to what they call an "uttering threats incident involving a firearm."
The alleged incident occurred on Thursday, and provincial police say the man was spotted behind the wheel of a vehicle in the community of Ripley on Saturday.
Police say they tried to block the roadway, but the man drove toward the blockade, damaging two cruisers.
Another civilian vehicle was damaged a short distance away, and the suspect allegedly fled on foot but was arrested and taken into custody after a short chase.
A man in the civilian vehicle and a passenger in the suspect's vehicle suffered minor injuries, while one officer suffered a fractured wrist.
Glenn William O'Neill, of Huron-Kinloss, Ont., is due in court for a bail hearing on Monday, and police say they expect to lay several charges.
