Health officials have announced, that there are 78 new cases of COVID-19 in Ontario, as of Monday morning,.
The number of new cases brings the provincial total to more than 500, with 489 of the cases still considered active.
Of those 503 cases, eight people have recovered and six deaths have been linked to the virus.
Nearly 8,500 people are still under investigation, and there's been nearly 20,000 people in the province who have tested negative.
Included in the 78 new cases, are 15 people from Toronto.
14 of the new cases are travel-related, with 16 linked to close contact of someone who has the virus. Many others are listed as pending.
Only six of the new patients remain in hospital, with the majority of the positive cases in self-isolation at home.
