Health Officials in Ontario have recorded 118 new cases of COVID-19, which is up slightly compared to yesterday, but still below the seven-day average of new cases.
76% of those new cases came in Toronto, York and Peel. Outside of those three areas, there was only 26 new cases reported.
The number of recoveries also jumped to 202, meaning fewer active cases. As of today, there are 1,673 people infected with COVID-19.
Nine new deaths were recorded, bringing the total up to 2,700.
Testing is back up to more than 23,000 completed, which is significantly more than yesterday, when over 15,000 tests were completed.
