Health Officials in Ontario have recorded 251 new cases of COVID-19 in the province, marking a slight increase compared to yesterday.
Still, it's the third straight day that we've seen fewer than 300 cases in the province.
59 of those new cases came in southwestern Ontario, while the remaining 192 are in the GTA.
Also, the number of recoveries shot up by 551, meaning there are 300 fewer active cases of the virus in the province.
More than 19,900 tests were completed, which marks an increase compared to yesterday, but the number of cases under investigation also grew, to more than 13,000.
The number of deaths rose by 11, to 2,475, which is the second straight day we've had fewer than 20 deaths.
And the number of people in hospital with COVID-19, is at the lowest point since April 5th, with 580 people requiring hospitalization.
It's also the second day in a row, that we've seen no new outbreaks in long-term care.
