Startling numbers when it comes to the number of people who died in Ontario as the result of an opiod overdose.
Between May and July, there were 336 deaths related to the drugs.
That's an increase of almost 70% over the same ime period last year.
The Health Minister and the Chief Medical Officer of Health say there's also been 25-hundred emergency room visits between July and September.
Toronto's Firefighters have carried the fentanyl antidote for more than a month, and the Police are also moving in that direction.
