The OPP have announced charges with regards to three accidents in the province involving transport trucks.
Two of them happened on Hwy 401 near Port Hope in August, and in Chatham Kent in July. The third happened that same month on Hwy 48 in Georgina.
Police say in all incidents, a transport truck crashed into the back of traffic that was stopped or had slowed down due to road construction or another accident ahead.
The collisions led to the deaths of six people - four men, a woman, and a 14-year-old boy.
Three men have now been charged, two of them are from Brampton and the third from Scarborough. The charges include dangerous driving causing death and criminal negligence causing death.
