On Friday afternoon, two tornadoes tore through the Ottawa and Gatineau area, leaving devastation in its wake.
At least 30 people were hurt, with five suffering injuries serious enough to go to hospital. Two were listed in critical condition as of late Saturday.
At least 60 buildings are damaged or completely destroyed in the Dunrobin neighbourhood in the Ottawa area, while 215 buildings require extensive repair in Gatineau.
Environment Canada has now confirmed the two tornadoes were an EF-3 and an EF-2.
