Police say they have arrested and charged a 32-year-old Toronto man who allegedly stole packages from residents' porches earlier this month.
Investigators allege several packages which delivery companies left on porches in the Bloor and Dovercourt area were swiped by the suspect.
All the thefts took place between December 7 and 12.
Officers and the public together were able to identify the suspect, leading to the arrest of Karel Vorlicek.
He was scheduled to make a court appearance Sunday on two counts of theft from mail.
Police say, this serves as a warning for Torontonians to be extra vigilant if they're expecting a package, especially around Christmastime. They suggest arranging to be home when it's delivered or having a neighbour look out for it if you're away from home.
