Toronto Police say they've charged a pastor from Shelburne, Ont., after a teenage girl 16-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted multiple times.
"It's alleged that between October 5 of this year until November 22, a man sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl on three separate occasions," Cst. Caroline de Kloet told NEWSTALK1010.
Following an investigation, police arrested Daniel George, 51, on December 9. He faces charges that include sexual assault, sexual exploitation and fail to comply with recognizance.
George worked out of the School of Wisdom Outreach Temple, on Jane Street between Eglinton and Dundas.
"He's also known to frequent areas in the GTA like Brampton, Toronto, further north - Shelburne, and then Montreal and Quebec," de Kloet added.
George is scheduled to make his next court appearance on December 27.
