Former PC leader Patrick Brown has tweeted for the first time since stepping down as leader almost two weeks ago.
In his message, he writes, "The truth will come out."
I am immensely grateful for all the support expressed to my family and myself. #metoo can be a tool to lift society and I applaud that effort.

False allegations however undermine that good work.
The truth will come out.
Thank you to all.
On January 24, Brown held a press conference at Queen's Park, denying allegations of sexual misconduct. Several hours later, he announced that he resigned as party leader.
The party is currently searching for a new leader. So far, former MPP Christine Elliott, former councillor Doug Ford, and York-Simcoe PC candidate Caroline Mulroney have announced they are running for the position.
