PC Leader Patrick Brown stopped by a childcare centre in Mississauga today, to highlight their plan to help parents with the mounting costs of childcare.
“The Ontario PC’s will make life easier for hard working Ontario families. We will make child care more attainable and more affordable. “
The PC party promises to refund up to 75 per cent of expenses back to parents in a tax-credit.
“Under our plan, a mom who has a child under six and earns less than 30,000 dollars per year will be eligible for a refund of $6,750.”
As announced on Saturday, Brown promised they will open 100,000 new child care centres for parents, making the service more attainable.
Brown also doubled down on his promise to step down as PC leader if he could not deliver the platform.
