Pearl Jam has announced that they are going to hold a spring tour, with a stop in Toronto.
That show will be held in March.
However, you should know something about the tickets. The band says they are mobile only, and non-transferable.
That doesn't mean, if you buy them, that you won't be able to sell them, but it does mean that you won't be able to make any money off the transaction.
In the release it reads, "Pearl Jam and Ticketmaseter will offer North America's first, fan-to-fan, face value ticket exchange, which allows you to re-sell tickets for the price you paid."
That price would include fees.
"For instance, if you bought the ticket for $100, and paid $10 in fees, you can only sell that ticket for $110 dollars, no more," says music industry expert Eric Alper.
And he suggests this could be the way of the future.
"This could be one of the very first steps in to ultimately seeing scalpers going by the wayside." says Alper.
