The accident occurred near Dixie Road and Clark Boulevard just after 3 a.m.
The victim was rushed to hospital where he succumb to his injuries at around 4:50 a.m.
Peel Regional Police Const. Danny Marttini told our media partner CP24 Satuday that the driver had little chance to avoid the collision.
" The individual walked out onto the road and the connection was made."
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene. He suffered minor injuries to his hands and of of now, according to Marttini, has not been charged.
" At this point there are no charges laid. As they(investigators) proceed through their investigation that could change. But at this point that's what we have with the information we've received from witnesses and from the driver who stayed on scene. The driver has been very cooperative."
Peel police have taken the vehicle to their forensics centre for further investigation.
At this point Police don't believe speed or alcohol were a factor in the collision.
