The province's special investigations unit has charged a Peel police officer with sexual assault.
The SIU says the alleged assault happened in May of this year. a woman put forward a complaint of a sexual nature against the officer.
Investigators have not released any further information about the incident.
45-year-old Constable Kevin McCulloch is facing one count of sexual assault.
