Peel Regional Police are reviewing video of a hockey brawl from Wednesday night in Mississauga, which includes players and adults, including one man hitting a player with a stick.
The woman who posted the video on Facebook taken at Iceland Arena said her "baby..just wanted to celebrate with the rest of his team mates after winning this championship game."
NEWSTALK1010 has reached out to the Little Native Hockey League for comment.
According to the league's website, the incident happened during its 48th annual tournament.
The fight began between players at the end of the game, when two from an unidentified team in white went after an opponent for the team in blue.
It escalated to adults getting involved, with video showing one hitting a player with a stick.
Cst. Bancroft Wright with Peel Police says investigators are currently reviewing video that's been posted but are also asking anyone else who may have more footage to contact them.
"The adults on the ice who you assume that they would have more control and take charge of the situation, in this particular incident, it doesn't seem as if that's taken place," he said. "But again, that's something for the investigators to gather as much information as possible."
