Investigators in Peel Region are trying to track down a man who stole an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) from Mississauga's City Centre Transit Terminal.
At 3:30 p.m. on December 28, Peel Police say a man believed to be 25 years old approached a ticket booth, telling the collector someone in the parking lot had gone into cardiac arrest and required the external defibrillator.
The suspect then took the AED out of its cabinet and fled the scene.
He's described as white with a thin build and was unshaven at the time. He was wearing a white toque with red stripes and the word "west" on it, a blue backpack, white shoes and a grey coat.
Anyone who knows the suspect or has information on where the AED may be is asked to contact Peel Police by calling (905) 453-2121 Ext 1233 or through social media.
