As we have come to know either through personal experience or from a distance, Alzheimer's is a horrible debilitating desease.
A Brampton family has asked police to track down a relative afflicted with Alzheimer's, but it's not the first time.
75-year-old Alber Marbena was reported missing Saturday around Noon, in the Saintsbury Crescent and Egypt Drive area of the city.
This is the third time this year that Marbena's family has asked police to help find him.
The first came in January, when he was found in Georgetown, the second was in February, when he showed up in Toronto.
Marbena is described as male, middle eastern, light complexion, 5 foot 5 inches tall with a medium build.
He was wearing a brown jacket, blue dress shirt, black pants, and a dark flat cap.
Police and family are concerned for his well-being.
