If you live or work within the boundaries of College Street, Huron Street, Dundas Street and University Avenue, you will be without power overnight.
A planned outage will take place early Sunday morning from 2:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m., in order for crews to replace a critical piece of equipment at the Hydro One Cecil Transmission Station.
Because of the nature of the work, the power has to be turned off.
Hydro One says about 1,700 customers will be impacted - most of whom have already been notified about the outage through automated phonecalls.
Both Hydro One and Toronto Hydro suggest that drivers avoid the area if they can, but if not, all intersections where the lights are out must be treated as four-way stops.
