Toronto Police and other police services in the GTA are warning the public about a pizza delivery scam.
They're asking for the public's help in identifying the three men believed to be involved in this fraud.
Since mid-July, police say they've been receiving reports of incidents in which debit cards have been compromised by people posing as pizza delivery drivers.
Police say that legitimate pizza delivery orders were somehow intercepted by a group of at least three male suspects.
The suspects would then deliver the "intercepted pizza" to the intended customers.
A customer would then pay using a handheld debit card device which was presented to them.
It's alleged that during the transaction, the bank card and PIN of the unsuspecting customer would be compromised.
The suspect would then switch the debit card with a similar looking non-active card.
He would then head to a nearby banking machine and access the customer's bank account.
