5 people have been arrested outside of London in an early morning raid. Scotland Yard is not confirming if the arrests are connected to Saturday night's terror attacks in London that left 7 people dead. Police shot and killed 3 attackers after they ran over several people on London Bridge then went on to Borough market where several more people were stabbed.
An eye witness to the raids this morning in Barking told the London Telegraph one man tried to escape armed police and was shot outside her flat.
"I saw them bringing them out of the flat opposite, around 7am," she told the newspaper.
"One man tried to flee and they shot him outside my house. They put him in an ambulance and then the others in a police van."
