Police have made another arest in the alleged abduction of an international student in Markham, last month.
22-year-old Wanzhen Lu went missing on March 23rd, after allegedly being tased and grabbed in a parking garage. He showed up on a country road days later in Gravenhurst, disoriented but otherwise unhurt.
Police now have three of the four suspects they believe to be involved.
The latest arrest happened on Thursday in Clearview Township, west of Barrie.
22-year-old Nathan Plater, from Clearview Township has now been charged with kidnapping, forcible confinement and possession of a prohibited firearm.
He appeared in court on Fridat
Officers have also issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of a fourth man, 28-year-old Muzamil Addow, who is wanted on a slew of charges including kidnapping, assault with a weapon and three counts of failure to comply with a recognizance.
Addow is considered armed and dangerous.
