Police in Durham Region say they're concerned for the safety of a man from Oshawa after a daylight home invasion.
Allegations are it was around 2:00pm on Wednesday when 3 white men in their 20's barged into a basement apartment near Highway 401 and Stevenson Rd.
Cst. George Tudos of Durham Regional Police says the men were armed with guns and ransacked the home while the two people who lived there were still inside.
He believes several items were stolen, and that 31-year old Francis O'Connor was taken away at gunpoint.
Tudos says it isn't clear what led to the invasion and that investigators are following up on leads.
Authorities have released O'Connor's photo in hopes that someone will provide a tip that will lead to his whereabouts.
This isn't the first time O'Connor has had a brush with armed intruders.
In August 2013, he was shot when several armed men turned up at his grandparents' home and started firing.
Five men were charged.
