Toronto police say they have identified a deceased man in the Bruce McArthur investigation.
They had released a photograph of a man they believe to be deceased. Investigators said they received tips from the public, with 70 possible identities.
Police now say they believe they know who it is, but they are not releasing any more details until the man's next of kin is notified.
McArthur faces seven charges of first-degree murder, related to the disappearances of men connected to Toronto's gay community.
