Toronto Police have quickly escalated their search for a missing Etobicoke woman to a level 3, the highest level for missing persons.
59-year-old Alice Wolski, was last seen on Friday at around 8 a.m., in the Martin Grove Road and Cowley Avenue area.
Wolski is described as 5’7", with a slim build, long dark brown hair past her shoulders, and green eyes. She was wearing black leather boots. No other clothing description is available at this time.
Const Rob Reid told NEWSTALK 1010 Saturday morning that the level 3 call for the missing woman was for fear of her safety.
"We have concerns for the safety of the missing person due to the very cold weather, very incliment conditions."
According to Reid, the level three search entails a variety of resources.
"We've got everybody we can possibly find is participating in this level 3 search. Mounted unit, K-9, there will be drones up in the air at some point today. We're just doing the best that we can to locate this person and reunite her with her family."
