London police tell NEWSTALK 1010 that the bodies of two alleged victims of Elizabeth Wettlaufer have been exhumed, that of Arpad Horvath and Helen Matheson.
Wettlaufer is a former nurse who has been charged with eight counts of first degree murder, along with other charges, related to her care of patients at nursing homes in Woodstock, London, Brant County and Oxford County.
Police say the exhumation is necessary for autopsies to be performed.
Const. Sandasha Bough says the families of the two victims were notified and were supportive of this latest move by police.
Wettlaufer's alleged victims include James Silcox (84), Maurice Granat (84), Gladys Millard (87), Helen Matheson (95), Mary Zurawinski (96), Helen Young (90), Maureen Pickering (79), Arpad Horvath (75), Sandra Towler (77), Beverly Bertram (68), Wayne Hedges (57), Michael Priddle (63).
