It seems many drivers have been ignoring the rules on King Street.
Toronto Police say they've handed out at least 16,000 tickets since the city gave priority to streetcars between Jarvis and Bathurst.
Anyone caught driving through an intersection or making a left turn could get a $110 fine.
Police say most of the people caught are out of towners, but note that there are signs and the intersections are marked.
The pilot project was launched in November 2017, with the aim of allowing streetcars to move more quickly.
It was made permanent in April of this year.
