Three schools in Toronto's west end, were locked down for five hours last week, when a student spotted someone walking the halls with what appeared to be a gun.
The original call came in to police around 10am on Thursday, from Western Technical-Commercial School at Bloor Street West and Runnymede Road in High Park.
That prompted lockdowns at Western Tech, along with Ursula Franklin Academy and The Student School. A lockdown that lasted until 3 in the afternoon.
Toronto Police have released the name and photo of the man they believe they are looking for.
Joshua Hastings, 18, of Toronto is wanted on several firearm related charges.
Police warn that he is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
