Toronto Police are investigating after a pair of concerning incidents involving teenaged girls in the Bloor and Mount Pleasant neighbourhood.
The girls, 13 and 14-years-old, tell eerily similar stories.
The first incident was the morning of March 7th. A girl told police she was walking near Elm Avenue and Dunbar Road when a man in a car followed her, then approached her from behind.
He asked her to get in the car and when she refused, it's alleged that he grabbed her hand and tried to pull her in. She managed to get away.
The second incident was on March 15th just a short distance away.
A second girl reported that a man started following her in a silver Nissan Altima while making sexual comments.
She ran to a friend's house and he allegedly waited for her outside before finally leaving.
In both cases, the man is described as black. One of the girls said he was in his early 20s; the other said late 20s or early 30s.
