There were reports, people were seen running and screaming from the Malvern Town Centre on Wednesday morning, after a man walked in with a hatchet and started attacking.
Police were called to the scene around 9:35 on Wednesday morning, to a fast food restaurant at the mall.
There are reports one person is injured, but it's unclear how severely.
Police say it appears this may have started with an altercation between two men earlier, and one of the men returned with a weapon.
