Police are investigating a triple shooting in North Etobicoke.
It happened around 9 o'clock Friday night at a plaza on Kipling and Rowntree Road, north of Finch.
Speaking with our sister station CP24, this is what the officer on duty had to say about the case:
"We received multiple calls for a shooting here at the plaza at 2687 Kipling Avenue. The responding officers located three males who were suffering from obvious gunshot wounds."
Police are releasing few details at this time, but we do know that when officers arrived, one man was without vital signs. He was taken to hospital by emergency run.
Two other gunshot victims were rushed to hospital in serious condition.
The investigation continues.
It's been a violent year, with Toronto marking a record number of homicides. On Wednesday, a man was gunned down in the Entertainment District, marking the city's 95th homicide of the year.
