Toronto Police haven't made an arrest, but are investigating a reported case of hate crime.
Several racist words and symbols were spray painted on the walls of the Leuty Lifeguard Station in the Beach in Toronto's East End.
A swastika along with the words 'hail Hitler' and other symbols were painted on the side of the building.
Mary-Margaret McMahon, who represents the ward, said she was working to have the words removed.
The lifeguard station was built in the 1920's.
