Toronto Police have opened an investigation into a disturbing incident that was caught on video.
The confrontation between the driver of a car, and a woman pushing a stroller boiled over with a the woman climbing on the hood of the car in an effort to get that person to stop.
It happened in mid-town Toronto, in an area plagued by traffic woes, as the Crosstown LRT is built along Eglinton.
The woman left her stroller in the middle of the intersection while she chased down the vehicle.
No injuries were reported, but police say this goes to show how quickly things can escalate.
No charges have been laid at this point, but police say they are looking at the whole situation, both the dirver of the car and the woman with the stroller.
"At the end of the day I think it's a good learning lesson for everybody, to slow down, to reflect on what's going on." says Sgt Brett Moore from Toronto Police Traffic Services.
But should the woman have errupted the way she did? Probably not.
"We would never recommend that someone put themselves in the position, over a highway traffic act infraction, where they could be injured." says Moore.
