Toronto Police are dealing with a trio of separate stabbings in the city, within 8 hours.
A man in his 70s was stabbed during an attempted robbery in Scarborough.
The incident occurred in the area of Clementine Square and Brimorton Drive, as the man was walking along at around 8 p.m.
He was approached by the suspect, who attempted to rob him.
With nothing on him, the suspect was stabbed multiple times.
The injuries are considered non life-threatening.
Same for two women who were stabbed outside a Walmart in North York at around 11 p.m. near Keele street and Lawrence Avenue.
One of the two women, reported to be in her 20's, was taken to a trauma centre with serious injuries.
Early sunday morning, at about 2:45 a.m.,two men got into a fight in the Sheppard Avenue and Black Creek Trail.
The result, one person was stabbed several times.
According to police, the suspect stole personal items from the victim and took off.
But police know the identity of the suspect and continue to investigate.
