York Regional Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly posed as a police officer then sexually assaulted a woman.
Police say on June 8, around 8 p.m. the suspect met with an 18-year-old female escort. They arranged a date for a hotel in the Interchange Way and Highway 7 area.
The suspect told the woman he was a police officer and showed her a document claiming it was a warrant. He then sexually assaulted her. He left after taking some money and drove away.
The suspect is described as brown, 28 to 35 years old, 6' with a thin build, long black wavy hair and brown eyes.
