Toronto Police have made an arrest in a fatal shooting in Scarborough last Thursday.
25-year-old Charankan Chandrakanthan of toronto died of his injuries sustained in the shooting at a parking lot on McNicoll Avenue near Middlefield Road.
Monday police revealed that a second person had also been shot at the scene, but suffered non-life threatening injuries.
A 22-year-old Stoufville man faces 2nd degree and attempted murder charges.
He appeared in court Monday morning.
The murder was the 47th homicide of the year in Toronto.
