It's the freebie Torontonians often get on long weekends: free on-street parking.
But it's not free so much as it's just not enforced by Toronto Police.
That means you can park in any traditional paid on-street parking location including pay and display and metered areas, rush-hour routes and posted signs that indicate Monday to Friday regulations, and you don't need to pay.
Officers will not be enforcing those areas on Canada Day nor on Monday July 2, which is the official statuatory holiday.
Police say all other areas and parking offences will continue to be enforced.
