More than two decades after they were stolen, Peel police say they have recovered two Blue Jays rings and returned them to their rightful owner.
The rings were stolen from a Jays executive's home in Mississauga, near Mississauga Rd and Hwy 403, back in 1994.
One of the rings is a 1992 World Series championship ring, and the other is a Jays anniversary ring.
Twenty-three years later, police say it came to their attention that the jewelry was being sold online.
Officers retrieved the rings, but so far no arrests have been made.
