Toronto Police have released security images of two men wanted in connection with attempted robbery that ended with pepper spray being deployed.
Saturday, March 23 around 9:40 p.m. police say the two suspects approached a man in the Yonge Street and Dundas Square area.
One of the suspects tried to rip the gold chain off his neck and when the victim fought back the second suspect sprayed him.
The pair fled northbound on Yonge Street.
Several people in the are reported suffering the effects of the pepper spray.
One suspect is described as a white male with a slim build. He was wearing a grey ball cap, dark windbreaker-style jacket with a Maple Leaf logo, grey track pants and had a black backpack.
The other a black male with a slim build. He was wearing a black North Face jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes with red heels.
