Toronto Police have released security camera images of a suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing at Stock Yards Village.
Police say on Friday, January 26 around 3:00 p.m. officers responded to a call for a stabbing in the Weston Road and St. Clair Avenue West area.
It is reported a 24-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk when he had a brief friendly exchange with another man. He continued on, but was startled by a scream.
When he turned around he saw the other man walking towards him with a knife. The man then allegedly stabbed the victim through the hand and fled.
Police believe this was a random, unprovoked attack. The suspect is considered armed, violent and dangerous. If you see him you are asked not to approach and call 9-1-1 immediately.
