Investigators have released surveillance photos of three men believed to be involved in a violent robbery at a bar in Chinatown early Saturday morning.
Just before 2:30 a.m., the victims - a 24-year-old and a 35-year-old man - walked into the bar near Dundas and Spadina, asking for assistance from a man who they thought was an employee.
Toronto Police tell NEWSTALK1010 that man then produced a gun and struck one of the victims on the head with it.
At that point, two other suspects joined in, removing the victim's jewelry.
All three suspects then walked away, while keeping their gun pointed at the victim's friend.
Police are looking for three Asian males. The first is described as in his 30's, 5'8", 200 to 210 pounds with a heavy build, short spiky hair, and clean shaven. He was wearing a puffy jacket, blue zip-up sweater, and blue pants.
The second is described as also in his 30's, 150 pounds with a slimmer build and spiky hair. He was wearing casual blue clothing, a sweater and jeans.
The third is in his 20's, about 150 pounds with a slim build.
