Toronto Police say they're searching for two male suspects following a shooting near Bellamy and Cedar Brae Blvd. - near Eglinton - that left a 16-year-old boy dead.
It happened at about 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the boy without vital signs, suffering from a gunshot wounds.
Despite EMS performing CPR and the boy being rushed to hospital, he died a short time later.
Investigators say the suspects fled the area in a dark SUV.
The first suspect is described as wearing all dark clothing with a hoodie, while the second was wearing a dark hooded top and light-coloured shorts.
Anyone with information or who has surveillance footage is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
This marks the city's 77th homicide of 2018.
