There is a man and woman Toronto Police would like to have a chat with.
Investigators say they witnessed a bloody, fatal attack outside of a North York bar earlier this year.
Surveillance video has been released showing the pair inside and outside Gucci Bar and Grill on February 9th, when 20-year-old Kiowa Wind McComb was stabbed to death; his 23-year-old brother was seriously injured.
Detective Sgt. Gary Giroux wants the pair to know they don't have to be afraid. "This is not a gang case, there is no gang involvement here. I would suggest to them the individual that they may or may not be frightened of is in custody and he is going to remain there until this case is litigated. He doesn't have any gang ties that I am aware of."
Giroux believes you can tell the moment the stabbing happened by the man's reaction. "He's clearly shocked and horrified by what he sees because at one point in time he puts his hand on his face in relation to what he has seen on the sidewalk, taking place right in front of him."
Police have been told the pair frequent bars in the Jane and Lawrence area and also pubs as far north as the Jane/Finch?Sheppard neighbourhoods.
The woman may go by the name of "Layla."
35-year-old Andre Appleton has been charged with second degree and attempted murder.
