Toronto Police are trying to identify a man wanted in connection with three sexaul assaults in the city after more women come forward.
Police released images of the man May 23, 2017 after a 37-year-old woman reported she was assaulted in an apartment in the Bathurst Street and Steeles Avenue West area.
She was on the elevator around 4:45 p.m. when a man got on and started talking to her. He told her she needed a blessing to be cleansed of her ex-husband. The man followed the woman into her apartment where he sexually assaulted her.
Saturday police issued another news release that said two new complainants have come forward since the man's picture was released.
It is reported that on Monday, May 22 around 11:30 p.m. in the Bathurst Street and Steeles Avenue West area a 27-year-old woman was walking to her home along York Hill Boulevard when a man approached and asked if he could bless her. The woman said no, the man then assaulted her and offered her another blessing. She refused that too and continued walking, but the man followed her to her residence. He left once her dog started barking.
It is further reported that on Wednesday, May 24 at approximately 4 p.m. a 38-year-old woman was in her home in the Bathurst Street and Steeles Avenue West area when a man knocked on her door. He asked if he could give her a blessing and as he walked through the entryway he sexually assaulted her inside her apartment.
The man is described as 6' tall with a long brown beard, long brown side curls, and glasses. The man speaks Hebrew and English. He was wearing black shoes, black pants, long black trench/dress coat, with a white-collared shirt underneath, and a large brimmed hat.
Police are concerned there may be other victims.
